There's no better way to enjoy your "Ultimate Driving Machine" than to get out on the road. It's even better when you venture out with fellow club members. Summers in Minnesota are brief. Make plans to hit the road and join in the fun!
Ladysmith Loop - Saturday, June 10, 2023 - 10:00 a.m. (Optional Overnight Stay - Return on June 11, 2023)
Boldly going where we haven't gone before, we are headed to Ladysmith, Wisconsin. Where is that, you may be asking? A little north and a little east of Eau Claire. We will be trekking on back roads all the way there, and will stop off for lunch and see interesting sites along the way.
Ladysmith is located on the beautiful Flambeau River and the town hosts several local sites and shops to explore. We also plan to dine at a local supper club for dinner. For those interested in staying overnight, there is a restored Carnegie library turned into a boutique hotel that is fabulous. Send Tom a message at tours@northstarbmw.org if you'd like a room. The cost is $117 per room and only 3 rooms are left! Otherwise, if you can't stay overnight, you can return back to the Twin Cities the same day in a little over two hours.
The ride departs from the Woodbury Jerry's Foods parking lot at 10:00 a.m. The address is 7760 Hargis Pkwy, Woodbury, MN 55129. Note this is a different location than the Kohl's in Cottage Grove where we met on previous drives. Please plan to arrive at Jerry's by 9:45 a.m. with your gas tank full. Wouldn't hurt to check your tire pressure too. We'll review the route, answer any questions, and hit the road.
When you register, be sure to add your passengers too. That will help make sure we have the right reservation count for the restaurant. Thanks!
