The Boston Chapter will host a wonderful day of twisty road driving, leaf peeping, a visit to Club Motorsports and a few delicious stops for some treats along the way. There is a half day and full day option. Space is limited to 30 participants.
LOGISTICS
Meet: 8:30 AM Salem, NH Welcome Center Rest Area off I-93N (just before Exit 1)
Drivers Meeting: 8:45AM
Departure: 9:00AM Sharp!
Drive 1
The first leg of the driving tour will include some scenic driving through New Hampshire's beautiful scenic byways. We'll make our way north toward Club Motorsports (Tamworth, NH) and stop for a sweet treat at one of New Hampshire's Chocolate Trail stops along the way. We'll arrive at Club Motorsports approximately 11:30 AM.
Club Motorsports
Upon arrival, we'll check in and tour the race track. The HPDE activitiy will be finishing up for their lunch break at this time and participants will have a chance to watch some of these activites. We'll then have the option to "tour the track" by taking "parade laps" at lower speeds (40-50mph). For the extreme adventure seekers, we will also have the opportunity to take some "hot laps" riding in an instructor's car.
Lunch & Drive 2
We'll enjoy lunch at a local spot near the track before beginning our return drive south. Participants wishing to do only a partial day tour can join the group for lunch or begin their drive home at this time.
Those choosing to continue for the full day will enjoy another sweet stop along the Chocolate Trail with a final stop at one of New Hampshire's Wine Trail stops to enjoy a wine tasting. At this point the tour will be complete and participants are welcomed to depart at their leisure.
