It will be a terrific weekend, including a fabulous dinner on Saturday evening..   Most importantly… free coffee Friday,  Saturday and Sunday mornings outside of garage 7.

Click here to do the complete the BMW CCA's waiver  Please use this to fill out a waiver for the Buckeye school at Mid Ohio.  We are using this system to collect and store all of our waivers.  Please do this before you arrive.  This code will also be on our website.

Our current plan for the DE / school is to have 4 run groups with in-car instruction for D, C and B run groups.  D run group will be our Novice group. We will run A solo at this event. If you have a lot of experience on track and wish to run solo, please contact Chief Instructor (Lance White 513-659-5197 c chiefinstructor@buckeyebmwcca.org) for approval. We could provide an instructor for an A student if requested and an instructor is available.

Instructors:  $75 charge for Saturday and Sunday only. When you register for Saturday & Sunday an option for adding Friday will pop up.  There will be added an $175.00  for a 3 day weekend.

Instructors are required to review the Ross Bentley instructor manual.

Important note to all students: Use of R compound tires is discouraged for a beginning student.

Driver's Schools are a great place to see just what you and your favorite car can do. The schools allow performance driving techniques coached from experienced instructors under the safest conditions possible. They are not races, but rather, a controlled environment in which you can push the envelope at your own pace. You'll learn how your car handles at high speed and under extreme cornering. Once you get a taste of how your car behaves under the intensity of track driving, you will be much better prepared for those highway "intense moments". Students are grouped into categories depending on skills and previous school experience for both in-class and on-track sessions. This is a great investment for any driver, male or female, young or "experienced". We've yet to hear of anyone leaving a Driver's Schools without feeling they were a better driver.

Note: Qualified students have the option driving on Friday August 2nd- Advanced Study. Contact Chief Instructor (Lance) for approval.

For participants, see information on the Buckeye web site https://buckeyebmwcca.org/driving-schools-racing/ for the form needed for the technical inspection that is required and an article about Driver School Orientation.  Also, go to this page: https://hpde-1st-timer.com with some good information from MSF, the Motorsport Safety Foundation.  This info isn't just for first timers.

HQ Hotel location: Sleep Inn & Suites, 6698 Brandt Rd, Galion, OH.  Reservations process is different this year.  Details provided upon registration.
