Registration will open on 1/14/2024 at 7:00 PM and will close on 2/9/2024 at 7:00 pm with a limit of 25 drivers per day. If the event date is full, we encourage you to place yourself on the waitlist. There are NO WALK-ONS for the event.
Winter is once again upon us! For many, this means a trip to the mountains. A few within RMC BMW CCA couldn’t be more elated for the arrival of snow, ice, and winds as it means we once again have the pleasure of sliding around on the infamous Georgetown Lake!
Georgetown Lake is reserved for two days, February 18-19, 2024 (President's Day Weekend) with participants trying their hand at navigating through the autocross-style course set atop the ice reservoir at just over 8,500 feet. Open for drivers of legal driving age and experience, this is a great time to enhance winter driving skills and the limits of your vehicle. There will be a skid pad and a timed gymkhana course.
The event begins promptly at 8:30 am with the required drivers meeting at 9:00 am. A practice session will follow in the morning followed by timed sessions starting at noon. Each day a light breakfast and post-event lunch at The Alpine Restaurant is available as part of your registration.
