There's no better way to enjoy your "Ultimate Driving Machine" than to get out on the open road. It's even better when you venture out with fellow club members.
12th Annual Pizza Run Redux - Saturday, September 23 at 11:00 a.m.
Let's try this again. Our July Pizza Run was cut short due to a nasty thunderstorm and we never made it to our destination. We can't let the driving season slip by without making it to the Stone Barn, so we've rescheduled the trip for September 23rd. We'll explore the back roads on the Wisconsin side of the Mississippi for some spectacular driving. Hidden in the rolling hills we'll find the Stone Barn, a wood-fired, brick oven eatery that serves incredible pizza in an amazing setting (www.thenelsonstonebarn.com). Since it will be peak apple season, we may tack onto the drive an apple orchard visit as well. Join your BMW friends for an afternoon of outdoor dining surrounded by forests, fields and fun. Waits can be long, but no one seems to mind.
Ride departs from the Woodbury Jerry's Foods parking lot at 11:00 a.m. The address is 7760 Hargis Parkway, Woodbury, MN 55129. Note this is a different location than the Kohl's in Cottage Grove where we met on previous drives. Please plan to arrive by 10:45 a.m. with your gas tank full. We'll review the route and hit the road.
When you register, be sure to add your passengers too. That way I can notify the restaurant of the group size we are bringing their way.
