Join us on Saturday, 25 June 2022, for our Fun Run from Leeds to Anniston, AL. We will be meeting at the Bucee’s in Leeds, having lunch at Hubbards Off Main in Oxford and touring the Berman Museum in Anniston.
 

Meet:  Buc-ee’s #47 at 9:50 am at the parking spaces in the southeast corner of the parking lot, between the Ethanol-Free 87 & 93 Octane fuel pumps and Highway 78.  Leeds, AL, I-20, Barber Motorsports Park Exit.  6900 Buc-ee's Blvd, Leeds, AL 35094

If you never been to a Buc-ee’s, it is worth the effort to get there early to experience it. Per AL.com, this Buc-ee’s occupies more than 53,250 square feet with 120 fueling spots, Buc-ee’s is known for its unique offerings including Texas barbecue, homemade fudge, kolaches, Beaver nuggets, jerky and fresh pastries.

Berman Museum, 840 Museum Dr, Anniston, AL 36206

Per the Only in Your State website, the Berman Museum is a one-of-a-kind museum featuring an extensive collection of WWI & WWII weapons, a side plate from the U.S.S. Arizona, medieval suits of armor, spy equipment, Napoleon’s dressing case, Hitler’s silver tea service, and a bejeweled crown that once belonged to a Czech king, 

 

 

 

 

 

If the Berman Museum is not your cup of tea, you can visit the Anniston Museum of Natural History instead or BOTH for only $4 more. (They are a short walk from each other).

 

Admission cost:

Passport Ticket (discounted rate to visit Anniston Museum of Natural History and Berman Museum) is $12/Adult, $10/Senior, and $8/Child. Children ages 0-3 are free.
General Admission for one museum is $8/Adult, $7/Senior, and $6/Child. Children ages 0-3 are free.
