Jolly Green Road Trip - Saturday, May 15th at 10:00 a.m.
Drop the green flag and let the Road Trip season begin! We are headed south down the Minnesota River Scenic Byway and beyond. Stops include St. Peter’s Pearly Gate, Blue Earth’s Jolly Green Giant, Lunch at Cedar Inn Drive-In (Cedarinndrivein.square.site) and a stop at Chankaska Winery (Chankaskawines.com) on the return trip.
Since the pandemic state of emergency is still in effect, we will fully comply with state COVID guidelines. Thankfully, road trips naturally involve social distancing in our own cars and we will keep to outdoor activities as much as possible. Group size will be limited and 6-foot social distancing rules apply. To help protect you and your fellow club members, be sure to bring along your mask.
Departs from the Target parking lot in Shakopee at 10:00 a.m. An earlier flyer incorrectly mentioned a 9:00 a.m. start-- the correct time is 10:00 a.m. The address is 1685 17th Avenue East. Please plan to arrive on time with a full tank of gas. We'll have a round of introductions, review the route and hit the road.
