Join us for the Lone Star Sponsed - BMWCCA Club Race School at Motor Sports Ranch, Cresson, Texas.

This BMWCCA Race School is intended to assist experienced drivers get a taste of what racing is all about.  Completion of the school will allow you to apply for a BMWCCA Club Racing license, but one is not issued (or guaranteed) by passing the school.  A BMWCCA Club Racing license is recognized by other organizations.

The school will be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 21st and 22and, 2020, at Motor Sport Ranch Cresson, TX.  It will be a highly structured school, conducted in a non-contact environment.  The school will consist of classroom and track instruction/exercises under the guidance of an experienced field of BMWCCA Club Racing instructors. Instructors will not be in car.   It is open to anyone who is at least a "B" level/ upper intermediate level student who are solo “qualified”.  All students will be subject to review for their eligibility.

The current limit of students has been set to 16 participants.  Given the current list of those who want to take this school, this event should sell out fast.  Thus there are student priorities that will be consider first over others; students who want to race in BMWCCA Club Racing and those who drive a BMW.  Once 16 participants are signed up there will be a Wait List.

A car that qualifies for an HPDE per BMWCCA HPDE rules is eligible.  Your vehicle need not be a BMW, nor have a roll cage*, only the normal Driving School Safety Equipment is required for both your car and yourself.

*Convertibles do have an extra set of rules they must meet.  They must have a full roll cage and hard top.  For example a Spec Miata meets the rule.

The entry fee of $495 includes a total of eight classroom instruction sessions and eight on track sessions.

All students must be BMWCCA members with active/paid BMWCCA memberships or associate memberships in their name. Joining the BMW CCA is fast, simple and does not require ownership of an BMW.  E-mail: David_S_Tedeschi@yahoo.com and I will guide you thru the process.

Entering credit card info will be required to register, but credit cards will not be charged until October 15, 2020. Once you card is charged, no refunds will be given unless you have someone who will be taking your spot.
